Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murray comes to the ring accompanied by Sir Charles Hughes - Dynomite. Petrov has chosen Schweine as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray stuffs the takedown attempt from Petrov. Petrov gets slowly back to his feet.
Murray buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Murray jabs Petrov right on the nose. Petrov blinks but takes it well.

Murray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Petrov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
David Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petrov is trying desperately to land a takedown but Murray is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Petrov.

Murray throws a head kick that Petrov semi-blocks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Petrov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Petrov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Murray did well to prevent Petrov getting side control.

Murray is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Petrov stands up and waves to Murray to follow him.
Murray fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Petrov.

Petrov shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Murray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Petrov was well out of range. Poor timing from Murray.

and Petrov counters with a single leg into guard. Murray didn't expect that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murray wants to stand but Petrov is controlling the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Murray is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Murray wants to stand and escape but Petrov is having none of it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Petrov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Murray's head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Petrov wants to control from the top but Murray keeps moving.
Murray wants to stand but Petrov is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Murray dominated that round.

Petrov dives in and grabs Murray's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murray pushes down on Petrov's head and hops out.

Murray lands a big head kick that sends Petrov tumbling to the mat! Murray takes a step backwards and waves Petrov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Murray throws a sloppy head kick and Petrov moves out of range easily.
Murray feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Petrov collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
