The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berkovic looks to score with a jab to the body but Costanza is just out of range.
Berkovic lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Berkovic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Costanza manages to avoid it.
Berkovic tries to bum rush Costanza with a series of wild strikes but Costanza uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Berkovic lands a nice shot to the body.
Berkovic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mario Berkovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Berkovic punishes Costanza's body with a nice straight punch.

Costanza could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Costanza is breathing heavily.
Berkovic throws a series of punches but Costanza avoids them all with ease.
Costanza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Berkovic circles away.
Berkovic looks to land a combination but Costanza avoids it well.
Berkovic misses with a double jab.
Horrible takedown by Costanza or perhaps it was just good defense by Berkovic which made him look bad.
Costanza closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Berkovic's jab looks to have found its range, popping Costanza under the eye.
Costanza gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Costanza tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Berkovic is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Costanza buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Costanza!! Costanza is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Berkovic throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
