The crowd seem to be enjoying Hil's choice of entrance music: Darryl & Joe- Run DMC. The key to victory for Donatello Crizanto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hil feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Crizanto sprawling to the canvas! Crizanto rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hil finish him?!

Crizanto is rocked!

It looks like Donatello Crizanto has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hil missing with a left hand there. Crizanto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Oh Crizanto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Crizanto tries to land a front kick but Hil steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hil uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hil throws a looping overhand right but Crizanto ducks down to avoid it.
Crizanto circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Hil. Crizanto falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Hil!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rich Hil!
A determined Rich Hil didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
