Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gold T!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrone Kobel!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? T is fending him off so far but Kobel persists. Nope, T circles away and we're back to standing.
T looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
T tries to clinch there but Kobel circles away.
T misses with a takedown attempt

and Kobel counters with a shoot takedown. T fights it but they end up in guard.


T is rocked!
Kobel stays in close to T's body and controls the position.
Oh T is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kobel forces his way into half guard.
Kobel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
T seems to have got his legs back now.
Kobel is looking to advance position but T won't allow it.
Kobel is keen to just control but T is a slippery customer.
T is looking to get back to full guard here but Kobel has managed to pass to side control instead.
T really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

T keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kobel blocks T's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Let's hope that Kobel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
I looks like Kobel might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tyrone Kobel just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

T scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kobel wants to control but T is keeping busy.

Kobel kicks off T and gets to his feet.
Gold T seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kobel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
T tries to roll over but Kobel keeps him under control.

T won't allow Kobel to pass to mount.
T landing strikes from the bottom.
T is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kobel is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
T is trying to stand up.
Kobel controlling the position easily from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kobel wants to control the pace but T is squirming around nicely.

Kobel's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyrone Kobel dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and T counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kobel!
Kobel is trying desperately to improve position.
Kobel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
T landing strikes from the mount and Kobel is in trouble!
Kobel bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
T on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if T tries to get out of the position.
Kobel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kobel wanted to stand there but T had control of the position.
Kobel controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

T wants to sweep but no luck.
Kobel has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of T is proving hard to escape from.
T throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
T throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
T bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kobel's guard.
T wants to pass the guard but Kobel is keeping the position.
Kobel keeping moving, preventing T from controlling successfully.
Kobel controls T momentarily but T frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kobel has his feet on T's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
T shoots and misses

and Kobel counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kobel.

Kobel gets to his feet. T looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Kobel scores with a counter punch that sends T to the canvas! Kobel smells blood - he's punishing T with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! T has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyrone Kobel!
