Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salath Sar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggie Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smalls's choice of entrance music: Juciy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Salath Sar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Biggie Smalls!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Sar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Smalls clinches with his opponent.

Smalls has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sar uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smalls looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sar is one step ahead there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smalls looking to control.
Smalls has momentary wrist control but Sar slips an elbow through the middle.

Sar drops back looking for a leg! Smalls is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smalls manages to kick Sar off! Sar jumps back into Smalls's guard.

Smalls is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sar is aware though and is defending well.

Sar drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sar jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Smalls trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Sar throwing strikes but missing.
Smalls trying to control the position.
Smalls is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sar is trying to stand back up but Smalls is controlling him
Sar is looking to improve his position.

Sar looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Sar manages to get to full guard.
Smalls throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Smalls wants to control from the top but Sar keeps moving.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sar wants to sweep here but Smalls controlling him for the moment.

Sar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sar throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Smalls escapes and throws Sar's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Sar is trying to work for a sweep but Smalls has mounted him!

Sar is looking to get to half guard.
Smalls unloads with some shots from mount but Sar bucks and avoids them well.
Smalls looking to ground and pound but Sar is blocking nicely.
Smalls prevents Sar from getting the reversal.
Smalls looks gassed!
Smalls can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sar is looking to escape.
Sar is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Sar is trying desperately to improve position.
Smalls throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sar is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sar manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Smalls looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Sar wants to get back to his feet.
Smalls not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Smalls works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sar regains half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smalls trying to control the action but Sar is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Salath Sar dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Smalls bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Smalls trying to control the position but Sar is working away.
Sar avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Smalls.
Sar is trying to get back to half guard.
Sar gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Smalls trying to control from half guard but Sar is working away.
Sar slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Smalls controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Smalls stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Smalls is breathing heavily.
Sar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sar stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sar lands a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sar catches Smalls napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Smalls to the canvas!


Smalls is rocked!
Smalls tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sar forces his way into half guard.
Sar passes to side control.

Sar tries for a kimura but Smalls is defending well.

Sar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smalls is trying to control Sar's posture but Sar avoids it.

Sar is trying to get an arm triangle but Smalls is defending well.
Smalls tries to improve position but can't.
Sar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Sar has hold of Smalls's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Smalls tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Sar cranks the arm and Smalls screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Smalls, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Salath Sar!
