Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Trikkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Trikkle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodimus Prime!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trikkle throws a shot to the body.
Trikkle lands with a kick to the temple. Prime shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Rodimus Prime has been cut.
Trikkle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trikkle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prime fails with the takedown.
Trikkle fails to land with a series of punches.
Trikkle tries to clinch but Prime is having none of it.
An inside leg kick lands from Trikkle.
Prime looks gassed!
Prime circles away from the clinch attempt

and Prime counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Trikkle is looking to stand up but Prime isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trikkle working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Prime.
Prime pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Trikkle is keeping the position for now.

Prime postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trikkle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Prime, into his guard.

Trikkle stands up from Prime's guard - Trikkle perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prime slips a jab and a cross from Trikkle.
Trikkle tries to clinch up but Prime circles away and keeps his distance.

Prime closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Trikkle tries to kick Prime off but Prime keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Trikkle trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Prime is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Prime is working for a submission of some sort.
Trikkle is trying to stand back up but Prime is controlling him

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Prime is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Trikkle is just riding it out for now. Prime eventually gives up the hold.
Prime trying to control from Trikkle's half guard. Trikkle has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prime accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Trikkle keeping full guard, as Prime tries to pass.

Trikkle is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Prime drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dick Trikkle dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Rodimus Prime's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Trikkle lands with a nice combination. Prime backs away looking to recover.
Trikkle jabs Prime to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Trikkle takes the fight into the clinch.
Prime is working for takedown but Trikkle is calmly controlling the position for now.
Trikkle is looking to control Prime's arms but Prime gets an underhook and turns him. Now Trikkle has his back to the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Prime tries to pull guard but Trikkle holds him up against the cage and eventually Prime drops back down to his feet.
Prime is breathing heavily.
Prime has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Trikkle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Dick Trikkle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodimus Prime.
Trikkle stalling against the cage.
Trikkle stalling in the clinch but Prime improves position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Prime throws an elbow that misses.
Still in the clinch, Trikkle scores with a nice short uppercut.
Trikkle connects with a nasty looking knee right to Prime's face.


Prime is rocked!
Trikkle has Prime pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Prime is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Trikkle - that's hurt Prime badly! Oh, another knee lands and Prime is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Prime doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Dick Trikkle!
