Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Kamahawe Ole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Myers!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kamahawe Ole moves away.
Myers throws a right hand that Kamahawe Ole ducks under and follows up with a left that Kamahawe Ole also avoids with ease.
Myers moves in looking to clinch but Kamahawe Ole pushes him off.
Kamahawe Ole takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like JJ Kamahawe Ole has been cut.
Myers throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kamahawe Ole counters with a one-two to the body.
Kamahawe Ole attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Myers lands a left and a right that send Kamahawe Ole crashing to the mat, dazed. Myers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Kamahawe Ole is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kamahawe Ole scores with a three punch combo!
Oh Kamahawe Ole is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Myers tries to clinch up but Kamahawe Ole circles away and keeps his distance.
Kamahawe Ole seems to have got his legs back now.
Myers throws a sloppy head kick and Kamahawe Ole moves out of range easily.
Myers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kamahawe Ole under the eye.
Myers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kamahawe Ole manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Myers connects with a combination that backs up Kamahawe Ole into the cage. Myers lands a flurry of punches that gets past Kamahawe Ole's guard. Kamahawe Ole is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Myers bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Myers!
Michael Myers took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
