Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Pogi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawson comes into the arena with Another Victory blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Pogi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Lawson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Eric Lawson will probably get the nod.

Pogi shoots for a double leg takedown but Lawson sprawls well. He's pushed Pogi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pogi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Arthur Pogi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Pogi shoots in for a takedown but Lawson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lawson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Pogi avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice combination there by Lawson.
Pogi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lawson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
