The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vlad breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Vlad tries to clinch up but Martin circles away and keeps his distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vlad is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Martin gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Martin shoots for a double leg takedown but Vlad sprawls well. He's pushed Martin 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mocny Vlad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martin looks to land a right hand but Vlad moved out of range.
