Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slayer - Jesus Saves. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez defending well as Kelly loads up on a big left hand.
Sanchez takes one to the chin there.
Sanchez throws a head kick but Kelly moves out of range.
Sanchez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kelly throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kelly is in Sanchez's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kelly is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jesus Sanchez.
Sanchez lands a really nice looking cross but Kelly seems unphased.

Kelly loads up on a big right hand but Sanchez slips the punch.
Kelly throws a lazy right hand but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kelly throws an overhand right that lands on Sanchez's shoulder, as Sanchez tries to avoid the shot.

Sanchez throws a chopping leg kick but Kelly manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

It looks like Jesse Kelly has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelly throws a body punch but Sanchez moves out of range.
Kelly avoids the head kick by Sanchez.
Sanchez throws an overhand right that lands on Kelly's shoulder, as Kelly tries to avoid the shot.
Kelly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sanchez avoids the body shot from Kelly.
Nice defenses there by Kelly.
Sanchez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Kelly takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.

Kelly shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sanchez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sanchez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kelly manages to get himself to full guard.
Sanchez in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sanchez's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sanchez working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kelly's head.

Sanchez is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kelly is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kelly has escaped and now he's on top!
Kelly slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly trying to control but Sanchez is working from the bottom.
Sanchez has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Kelly wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.
Kelly wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kelly cracks Sanchez with a solid left hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sanchez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kelly is one step ahead there.
Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanchez is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jesse Kelly will probably get the nod.

Kelly shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kelly showed some decent athleticism there.

Kelly thows an elbow strike that misses. Sanchez gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Kelly doesn't seem too bothered but Sanchez quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Kelly is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Kelly really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
