Iamsaard comes to the ring accompanied by Orono Wor Petchpun Highlight. Rector is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wu Tang Clan Ain't Nuttin Ta Fuck Wit - Wu Tang Clan. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iamsaard thows a leg kick but Rector checks it

and Rector counters by moving into the clinch.

Rector breaks from the clinch.
Iamsaard tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Rector manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Iamsaard goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Iamsaard throws a head kick but Rector moves out of range.
Rector tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rector throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A bone on bone clash there as Iamsaard blocks the leg kick.
Rector is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Iamsaard on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rector tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Iamsaard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Iamsaard is trying to break the clinch but Rector is controlling him.
Rector struggles to land a body shot inside as Iamsaard controls his hands.
A left hand lands to the body for Rector.

Rector's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Iamsaard counters with a big head kick but Rector shrugs it off.

Iamsaard keeps the fight on the outside.

Rector drives through and clinches with Iamsaard against the ropes.
Rector goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Rector works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Iamsaard is breathing heavily.

Rector breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rector avoids a kick to the body.
Rector tries a head kick but it misses.

Rector closes the distance and clinches.

Rector breaks the clinch.
Iamsaard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rector darts in and clinches Iamsaard up against the ropes.

Rector breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Iamsaard misses with a head kick.

Iamsaard takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rector escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Iamsaard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rector throws a series of strikes that have Iamsaard backpedaling.
Rector moves in looking to clinch but Iamsaard pushes him off.
Rector tries to clinch there but Iamsaard circles away.

Rector has closed the distance and engaged Iamsaard in a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rector misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rector misses with a punch to the body.
Iamsaard blocks a body shot from Rector.

Rector breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rza Rector dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Rector counters with a nice uppercut.
Iamsaard keeps the fight on the outside.
Rector throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Iamsaard crashing down! Iamsaard tries to stagger back to his feet but Rector just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Iamsaard asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
