Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Riddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Howell manages to avoid it.
Riddler delivers a nice body kick.
Howell just misses with a punch to the body.
Howell avoids the head kick by Riddler.
Riddler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Howell takes a swing at Riddler's ribcage but misses.
Howell connects with a body shot.
Howell throws a series of punches but Riddler avoids them all with ease.
Riddler keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Howell closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Howell feints a jab promting Riddler to slip. Howell then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Riddler slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Riddler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Howell connects with a right hand. Riddler shakes it off.
Howell blocks a head kick by Riddler.

Howell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Howell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Riddler doesn't seem bothered though.
Howell lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Howell stalks Riddler and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Riddler's face. Riddler staggers backwards, shaken.
Riddler takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Riddler walks into a jab.
Howell scores with a jab. Riddler acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Howell's jab looks to have found its range, popping Riddler under the eye.

Riddler is rocked!
Riddler takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Riddler is still on wobbly legs! Can Howell finish him?
Riddler fails in his attempt to clinch.
Howell ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Riddler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Howell sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Riddler seems to have recovered his senses.
Riddler blocks a head kick by Howell.
Howell lands a lovely overhand right.
Riddler takes one to the side of the head.
Howell dips to his left and cracks Riddler with an uppercut!

Howell throws a series of punches but Riddler moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Howell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Riddler takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Howell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Howell throws a nice head kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Howell dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Howell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A jab lands there for Howell.
Riddler takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Howell lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Riddler can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Howell and Riddler drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Howell.
