Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Slay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slay comes to the cage accompanied by Wu-Tang Clan - Triumph. Nunes has chosen Pitbull- Hey Baby as his entrance music. Antonio Nunes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Cassius Slay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A head kick misses from Slay.
Slay slaps away a takedown attempt from Nunes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nunes tries for a takedown but Slay sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cassius Slay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Nunes.
Slay throws a head kick that misses.

Nunes has closed the distance and engaged Slay in a clinch.
Nunes wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Slay lands a good knee to the midsection. Nunes won't want to take too many of those.
Nunes is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Slay working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Slay stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Slay crunches a lovely knee into Nunes's ribcage.
Nunes takes a knee right on the jaw!
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Slay tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Slay scores with a nice hook to the head.
Nunes pushes off an throws an elbow but Slay leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Nunes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Nunes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nunes crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slay - the referee stops the clock and Nunes gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slay. Nunes manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Slay scoring well with a low kick there.
Slay digs a good hook to Nunes's body.
Nunes looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jab from Slay.
Nunes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nunes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Slay sprawls well. Slay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nunes gets slowly back to his feet.
Slay lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slay lands a leg kick that knocks Nunes off balance momentarily.

Slay cracks Nunes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nunes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Slay finish him?

Nunes is rocked!
Slay closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Nunes out cold! Nunes corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
