Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Silva prevents Vegeta from improving his position.

Vegeta is trying to stand back up but Silva is controlling him
Vegeta wants to control but Silva passes into side.
Vegeta wants to get back to his feet but Silva drags him back down.
Silva is working to tighten is grip on Vegeta's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Vegeta has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Silva is really squeezing tight and eventually Vegeta passes out! Silva breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jesus Silva!
Jesus Silva took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
