Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Raul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goku Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Raul looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Raul!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Goku Son!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raul stuffs the takedown attempt from Son. Son gets slowly back to his feet.

Son shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Son swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Raul is now in Son's guard. A big mistake from Son there, giving up the dominant position!
Raul cracks Son with a solid left hand.

Son has his foot on Raul's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Raul works his way back into a safe position though.

Son is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Son keeping moving, preventing Raul from controlling successfully.
Son lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Raul!
Raul is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Son working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Raul tries to lock up and control but Son gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Son has control of Raul's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Raul regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Son working for a guillotine from mount but Raul is in no mood to give up.

Son is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Raul is surviving well by controlling Son's body position as best he can.

Son goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Raul turns into him and now he's in Son's guard.

Raul got a little sloppy there for a moment and Son has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Raul has managed to get both his arms back between Son's legs - danger averted.

Raul has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Son to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Raul is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Son pulls down on the head and he's put Raul to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Goku Son!
Goku Son really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Catch Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
