Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McDougall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Money scrambles back to his feet.
Money shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
McDougall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Money circles away quickly and effectively.
Money takes one to the chin there.


It looks like Trey Money has been cut.
Money shoots in but McDougall avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kyle McDougall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Money.

That has opened up Trey Money's cut even more.
Money is trying desperately to land a takedown but McDougall is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Money.
Money takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McDougall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Money stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A combination from McDougall does no damage.
McDougall lands with a nice body punch.
Money looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kyle McDougall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Money counters with a shoot takedown. McDougall fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Money thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Money is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McDougall defends well.

Money has his foot on McDougall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McDougall works his way back into a safe position though.

McDougall looking to sit in guard and control but Money gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Money got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDougall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Money has managed to get both his arms back between McDougall's legs - danger averted.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Money wants to control from the top but McDougall keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McDougall leaves Money with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McDougall lands a slapping body shot.
Money dodges the punch combination from McDougall.

The cut above Trey Money's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Money showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McDougall.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McDougall cracks a nice hook into Money's ribs.

Money fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McDougall to the ground. Money is now in McDougall's guard.

McDougall working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Money doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but McDougall is tightening it up a little... Money has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Money reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Money taps out! Nice BJJ there by McDougall!
