Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thai Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Saliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Striker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rage Against The Machine - Killing in The Name. Saliva has chosen Macaco da Ribeira as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saliva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Striker moves out of range of the strikes.
Striker tries to score with a low kick but Saliva moves his leg out of the way.
Saliva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Striker wants to clinch.
Saliva misses with the combination.
Saliva tries a head kick but it misses.
Saliva throws a jab when Striker was well out of range.
The crowd cheers as Striker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Saliva doesn't seem phased though.
Striker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Saliva blocks a head kick by Striker.
Striker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Saliva was well out of range. Poor timing from Striker.

Saliva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Striker.
Saliva throws a series of punches but Striker avoids them all with ease.

Saliva shoots in looking for a takedown but Striker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Saliva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Saliva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A looping hook to the body misses from Saliva. Striker does a little dance to reset his feet.
A slow jab from Striker misses its intended target.
Striker lands a really nice looking cross but Saliva seems unphased.
Saliva looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Thai Striker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Striker with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Striker misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Saliva.

A nice left hand lands by Striker.
Striker is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Striker is pressed up against the cage. Saliva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Striker down to the mat. Striker avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Saliva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Striker manages to avoid it.
Striker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Saliva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Saliva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nice takedown defense from Striker. No joy for Saliva on that attempt.
Thai Striker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Saliva.

Striker unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Saliva! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Striker is unloading with more strikes now! Saliva drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
