I think Bowes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to till I collapse- Eminem. James Vera has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jesse Bowes's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowes lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Vera misses the jab.
Bowes connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Vera misses with a combination
enabling Bowes to counter with a crisp jab.

Vera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

You get the feeling that Vera really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Bowes is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Vera taking shots to the head.

Bowes looking to control but Vera is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bowes lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Vera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
