Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caique Mafra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Penguin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Penguin is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 48 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, King Penguin!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mafra looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Penguin is defending against the submission attempts here by Mafra.
Penguin is trying to stand up here but Mafra is controlling him well.
Penguin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Mafra decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Penguin throws a head kick but Mafra moves out of range.

Mafra fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Penguin, pushing him back against the cage.

Mafra ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mafra no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Penguin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mafra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mafra wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mafra has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mafra will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Penguin is sitting in close to Mafra's body. Mafra has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Penguin is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Penguin is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Mafra.
