Weber has chosen 99 Problems by Jay Z as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Phil Davis could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Levi Weber's chin.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber misses with a straight right.
Weber looks to throw the jab but Davis is out of range.

Weber lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Davis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Davis thuds his right hand into Weber's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Weber uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davis.

and Davis counters with a low kick, right behind Weber 's knee.
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Weber stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Davis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weber on his heels. He'll look to pass Weber's guard now, I'm sure.

Davis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Weber does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Phil Davis.

Davis clobbers Weber with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Davis uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Weber.
Weber misses with an uppercut.
Weber looks to score with a jab to the body but Davis is just out of range.
Weber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Davis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Weber misses with a straight left.
Davis feints and then cracks Weber's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Weber down.
Davis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Weber.
Weber takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Davis darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Davis throws a nice head kick!

Davis digs a good body shot into Weber's ribs.

Good leg kick by Davis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Davis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Weber's calf.
Davis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Weber looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Davis clobbers Weber with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Davis bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Weber! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Weber seems to have recovered his senses.
Davis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Weber takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Weber throws a hook to the side of Davis's head but Davis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Weber is breathing heavily.
Davis creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Weber with a big uppercut! Weber tries to clinch up but Davis pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Weber to the mat! Weber covers up and Davis unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
