PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jalen James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Long Live. James has chosen im the chapion as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails with the takedown
and Potter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps James thinking.
Potter tries for a takedown but James sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Potter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James tries to avoid it but Potter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James to the ground. James escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Potter leaves James with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

James shoots for a takedown but Potter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Potter will probably get the nod.
That's time! Potter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

James swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Potter is now in James's guard. A big mistake from James there, giving up the dominant position!

Potter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but James sees it coming and defends easily.
James is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Potter scores with a couple of nice shots.
James wants to improve his position but Potter is controlling well.

Jalen James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

James has Potter up against the cage in a clinch.
James wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

James manages to break the clinch.
James dives in and grabs Potter's left leg, looking for a takedown. Potter pushes down on James's head and hops out.
