Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chu Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chu Park!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Park circles away.

Park scores a takedown into full mount!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Park looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Miller is desperately trying to improve his position but Park has a good base and remains in mount.

Miller tries to lock up and control but Park gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Park is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Park shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Miller is trying to defend but Park finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Miller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Park tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miller is in Park's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller wants to pass the guard but Park is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Park lands a good knee to the midsection. Miller won't want to take too many of those.
Miller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Park changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Park really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Miller had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Park defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Miller will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Park shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Miller as he avoids it easily.
Miller looks for a takedown but Park sprawls well.

Miller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Park sprawls well initially but Miller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Miller is working for a kimura but Park is defending it quite comfortably.
Miller wants to free his trapped foot but Park is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Jason Miller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Miller gets to his feet. Park looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Park is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Park takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Park fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miller avoids it really well and circles away.
Jason Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chu Park.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Miller.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
