Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dave Sand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cole Tuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dave Sand has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sand shoots and misses

and Tuck counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Tuck pushes down on Sand's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Tuck is looking to advance position but Sand won't allow it.
Sand trying to control from the bottom.
Tuck tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sand knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Tuck throwing shots but Sand is blocking nicely.
Tuck wants to pass the guard but Sand is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuck moves nicely into side control.
Tuck landing strikes.

It looks like Dave Sand has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tuck works to advance to full mount. Sand defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Tuck lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Sand tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Tuck lands a nice shot to the head.

Dave Sand's cut is getting worse.

Tuck lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Jeez, Dave Sand's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
