Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Bosse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Jazz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosse misses with a two punch combination.
Jazz lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
No luck for Jazz with that takedown attempt.
Jazz moves out of range of the strikes.
Bosse throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jazz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Danga de danga de dang - Jazz scores with a four punch combination!
Jazz has a takedown stuffed.
Bosse looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bosse misses with the combination.
Bosse throws a lazy uppercut
and Jazz holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bosse is trying to stall.
Bosse is working for takedown but Jazz is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jazz jumps into guard, dragging Bosse to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jazz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bosse is looking to stand up but Jazz won't let him.
Jazz wants to get back to his feet but Bosse is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jazz pulls Bosse in close to his closed guard and prevents Bosse from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jazz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bosse stands and steps away. Jazz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bosse jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jazz gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jazz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steve Bosse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Jazz.
Bosse slaps away a takedown attempt from Jazz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jazz looks gassed!
Jazz slips a jab and a cross from Bosse.
Bosse swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jazz counters with a body kick.
Horrible takedown by Jazz or perhaps it was just good defense by Bosse which made him look bad.
Good shot there by Bosse.
Bosse tries to bum rush Jazz with a series of wild strikes but Jazz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
