Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fallen Heroes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jerry Cox has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jerry Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fallen Heroes!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heroes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Heroes breaks from the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Heroes.
Heroes fails with a takedown attempt.
Jerry Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Cox. No joy for Heroes on that attempt.
Jerry Cox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fallen Heroes.
Heroes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Heroes is looking to clinch.
Cox thows a body shot but no joy.
Cox misses with a body shot.
Cox leaves Heroes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Heroes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cox dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cox feints a jab promting Heroes to slip. Cox then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Heroes slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Heroes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jerry Cox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cox takes a swing at Heroes's ribcage but misses.
Cox misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Heroes.
Heroes misses with a few strikes there.
Heroes avoids the body shot from Cox.
Cox avoids the body shot from Heroes.
Cox swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Heroes.
Heroes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A right-left combo lands from Heroes.


It looks like Jerry Cox has been cut.
Heroes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cox is looking to wear down Heroes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Cox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Heroes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cox thows a body shot but no joy.
Cox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cox fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Heroes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Heroes looks to land a combination but Cox avoids it well.
Heroes swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Heroes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cox lands a nice shot that snaps Heroes's head back.


It looks like Fallen Heroes has been cut.
Cox swings for the body but Heroes moves out of range.
Heroes fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Heroes misses with a wild body shot.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Heroes throws a looping overhand right but Cox ducks down to avoid it.
Cox misses with a body shot.
Heroes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cox sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Heroes somewhat.
Cox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Heroes was well out of range. Poor timing from Cox.
A telegraphed right hand from Cox misses the target.
Cox avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Heroes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cox avoids it really well and circles away.
Cox looks to throw the jab but Heroes is out of range.
Cox lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Heroes manages to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cox cracks Heroes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Heroes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cox swings for the body but Heroes moves out of range.
Cox's jab looks to have found its range, popping Heroes under the eye.
Heroes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cox.
Heroes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cox lands a glancing blow to the side of Heroes's head.
Cox looks to land a combination. Heroes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Cox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cox looks to score with a jab to the body but Heroes is just out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A jab from Cox does it's job there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Heroes.
Heroes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cox as he avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jerry Cox dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Heroes shoots in for a double leg but Cox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jerry Cox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fallen Heroes.
Cox dips to his left and cracks Heroes with an uppercut!
Heroes throws a right hand that Cox ducks under and follows up with a left that Cox also avoids with ease.
Heroes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cox but Cox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cox thuds his right hand into Heroes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cox lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heroes circles away quickly and effectively.
Cox cracks Heroes with a right hand to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Heroes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Heroes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Jerry Cox is winning the standup battle so far.
Cox scores with a sloppy right hand. Heroes should have avoided that one.


Heroes is rocked!
Cox swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Heroes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cox lands with an uppercut that bounces Heroes off the cage and back into range.
Heroes is still on wobbly legs! Can Cox finish him?


That has opened up Fallen Heroes's cut even more.
Cox throws an overhand right that drops Heroes like a sack of potatoes! Cox dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jerry Cox!
