The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eslay connects with a nice looking jab.
Perhana shoots in for a double leg but Eslay sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The fighters circling - Perhana throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Eslay throws a body punch but Perhana moves out of range.
Hamilton Eslay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Perhana is trying to control but can't.

Eslay is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Perhana is just riding it out for now. Eslay eventually gives up the hold.

Eslay drops back looking for a leg! Perhana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Perhana manages to kick Eslay off! Eslay jumps back into Perhana's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
