The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stouks tries for a takedown but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Stouks throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stouks is in Diaz's guard.

Stouks drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Stouks off! Stouks jumps back into Diaz's guard.
Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stouks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Stouks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stouks works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Diaz wants to get back to his feet.

Stouks is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Diaz has managed to free his arm - good work.

Stouks escapes and gets back to his feet.
Diaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Stouks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Stouks is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diaz doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stouks.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
