Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Jackel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Wrangle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Jackel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kurt Wrangle's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrangle has a takedown stuffed.
Wrangle shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackel tries to sprawl out of it but Wrangle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wrangle feints and as Jackel raises his hands in defense, Wrangle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Jackel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Wrangle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wrangle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jackel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wrangle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jackel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wrangle manages to get himself to full guard.

Wrangle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wrangle.

Wrangle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wrangle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jackel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wrangle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wrangle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that The Jackel will probably get the nod.

Wrangle misses with a takedown attempt - Jackel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Wrangle shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wrangle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Wrangle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackel's waist but Jackel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wrangle off to one side.
The Jackel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Wrangle.
Wrangle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackel but Jackel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jackel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wrangle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackel somewhat.

Jackel is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Wrangle defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
