The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dank sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Dank drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dank gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dank is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dank got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dank has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Dank has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
