The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Conroy moves into range and clinches up with Darling.
Conroy throws an elbow but it misses.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Conroy just misses with a elbow thrown towards Darling's brow.
Darling is trying to push Conroy away but Conroy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Conroy blocks a body shot from Darling.

Conroy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circling - Conroy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Conroy misses with a head kick.

Conroy closes the distance and pushes Darling back into the cage.

Conroy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Darling connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Conroy tries to close the distance and clinch but Darling swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bruce Conroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conroy throws a head kick that half lands.
Conroy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Conroy pushes Darling away with a front kick.

and Darling counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Conroy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Darling manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Conroy misses with a head kick.

Darling uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Conroy has time to react.
Darling throws a hook but Conroy avoids it easily.
Conroy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Darling has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Darling pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Conroy back to the cage. Darling follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Conroy is rocked!
Darling connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Conroy tumbling to the canvas! Darling pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Conroy was done - good stoppage!
