Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shika Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lieutenant Rockwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockwood has chosen War as his entrance music. Lieutenant Rockwood has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rockwood as he avoids it easily.

so Li counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rockwood looking to hit a scissor sweep but Li is one step ahead there.

Rockwood shoots for a takedown but Li saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Li has hold of Rockwood's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rockwood manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Rockwood bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Rockwood wants to stand but Li has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
