The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ribeiro looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ribeiro must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Belousov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ribeiro escapes and throws Belousov's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Ribeiro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Belousov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Belousov is looking for a sweep.

Ribeiro is trying to get an arm triangle but Belousov is defending well.
Belousov dodges the ground and pound from Ribeiro.

Belousov explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Ribeiro lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Belousov backs up against the cage.
Belousov has his takedown stuffed

and Ribeiro counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ribeiro.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ribeiro looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Ribeiro trying to control but Belousov is working from the bottom.
Belousov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ribeiro wants to control from the top but Belousov keeps moving.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Enzo Ribeiro hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ribeiro lands with a slapping head kick.

Ribeiro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Belousov's guard.

Belousov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ribeiro is aware though and is defending well.

Ribeiro has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Belousov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ribeiro is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Belousov pulls down on the head and he's put Ribeiro to sleep! This one is all over!
