Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Proffitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proffitt has a takedown stuffed.

Lunar slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Lunar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Proffitt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lunar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Proffitt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Proffitt seems to have got his legs back now.

Proffitt had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lunar is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Proffitt Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lunar's back instead.

Proffitt looking to break Lunar's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Lunar remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Proffitt will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Lunar trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Proffitt throws a series of strikes and Lunar wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
