The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gun darts in and clinches Spong up against the cage.

Gun bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Spong throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gun stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Spong throws a lazy right hand but Gun sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Spong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gun moves away.
Gun lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Nice uppercut lands for Gun. That snapped Spong's head back.
Gun moves in looking to clinch but Spong pushes him off.
Gun doesn't manage to clinch there - Spong circles away.
Spong slips a jab from Gun.
Gun cracks Spong with an open hand slap.

Spong is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That kick from Gun tenderised Spong's leg. Spong is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oh Spong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gun is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Spong flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Spong is out cold! Gun holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
