The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Jenkins counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Jenkins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wizzle manages to get himself to full guard.

Wizzle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jenkins defends well.

Wizzle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Wizzle is in Jenkins's guard.

Jenkins is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wizzle stands up over Jenkins, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Jenkins is trying to keep Wizzle in close.

Jenkins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wizzle defends it easily.

Jenkins has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wizzle is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jenkins.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A determined Shizzle Wizzle didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
