Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Koslov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yster Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koslov's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Requiem for a Dream. Yster Best has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Igor Koslov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Koslov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yster Best!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best looks to land a body kick but Koslov moved away.

Best shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Koslov is trying to defend but Best finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Best throwing shots but Koslov is blocking nicely.
Best working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Koslov's thigh. Koslov counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Koslov has his foot on Best's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Best works his way back into a safe position though.

Koslov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Best doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Best manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Koslov lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Best!

Best bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Best tries to advance to mount but Koslov instead regains half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Best looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Koslov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Koslov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Best thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Best drops back looking for a leg! Koslov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Koslov manages to kick Best off! Best jumps back into Koslov's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Best shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Best was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Yster Best has got the better of the ground game so far.
Best is looking to work some ground and pound but Koslov has wrist control.

Well Best has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
