The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murillo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Orlando Murillo has been cut.
Peters shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Peters tries to work over Murillo's front leg with a kick but Murillo checks it.
Murillo misses with a two punch combination.

Peters swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Peters connects with a body shot that sends Murillo's belly button to the back.
Peters is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Murillo.

Murillo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Peters was covering up waiting for the punch and Murillo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Murillo is looking to work some ground and pound but Peters has wrist control.

Murillo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Peters lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Murillo circles away quickly and effectively.
Murillo shoots in and gets a takedown into Peters's guard.
Murillo slips nicely into half guard.

Murillo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murillo wants to control the pace but Peters is squirming around nicely.
Murillo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Peters looks a forlorn figure.
