Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Combo Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rickson Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Combo Rage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rickson Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie with a lazy takedown attempt
and Rage makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rage changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rage scoring well with a low kick there.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Rage sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rage jabs Gracie to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rage connects with a body shot that sends Gracie's belly button to the back.
Gracie tries to clinch but Rage is having none of it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Rage.
Combo Rage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Gracie.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
and Rage counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Rage connects with a right hand. Gracie shakes it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
An inside leg kick lands from Rage.
Rage scores with a decent looking hook.
Rage thuds a left hand into Gracie's body.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Rage tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gracie looks gassed!
Rage cracks Gracie with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rage buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Rage feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rage lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gracie doesn't manage to clinch there - Rage circles away.
Gracie moves to clinch but Rage breaks away
and Rage connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rage.
Rage lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Rage scores with a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rage moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Gracie is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rage is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gracie.
Gracie misses with a takedown
and Rage connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rage counters with a right hand to the body.
Rage throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Rickson Gracie has been cut.
Rage cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rage has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gracie to stand back up!
Gracie is rocked!
Rage is looking to wear down Gracie with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Rage throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Rage finish him?
Rage circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gracie to the canvas! Gracie doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Rage keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Combo Rage!
