The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Chapman.
Chapman lands with a slapping head kick.
Palhares has his takedown stuffed
and Chapman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Chapman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Palhares jumps guard and drags Chapman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Chapman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Palhares has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chapman is looking to defend but Palhares has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chapman! Palhares pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chapman taps out and this one is all over!
