Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Viktorija Butkintas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Florian Flocky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Florian Flocky has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Florian Flocky!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flocky misses with a series of wild punches.
Butkintas shoots in and drives through. Flocky sprawls well.
Flocky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butkintas swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Butkintas tries to sprawl but Flocky drives through with a takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Flocky tries to stand and escape but Butkintas is controlling the position.
Flocky wants to take a breather but Butkintas is having none of it.
Butkintas trying to control but Flocky postures up.
Butkintas moves into full guard.
Flocky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Butkintas is controlling Flocky's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flocky wants to control from the top but Butkintas keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Butkintas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Flocky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Florian Flocky wasn't active enough on the ground.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Butkintas.
Flocky misses with a head kick.

Flocky moves into the clinch successfully.

Butkintas jumps guard.
Flocky looking to sit in guard and control but Butkintas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Flocky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Butkintas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Butkintas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Flocky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Butkintas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Flocky's guard.
Flocky wants to stand back up but Butkintas manages to pass into side control.
Flocky looks gassed!
Butkintas postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Flocky seems a little lost for a moment, as Butkintas dominates the positioning.
Flocky is looking for a sweep.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Butkintas works to advance to full mount. Flocky defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Flocky tries to lock up and control but Butkintas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Flocky is trying desperately to improve position.
Butkintas punching from mount but Flocky doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Flocky tries to improve his position but instead Butkintas has taken his back!

Butkintas is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Flocky has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Butkintas has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Flocky taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Butkintas doesn't care though - he's delighted!
