PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Munch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voodoo People kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munch swings for the body but Johnson moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Munch which made him look bad.
Munch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Munch counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Munch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ray Munch will probably get the nod.
