Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ankur Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Woods!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Woodss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Woods slips a jab and a cross from Khan.
Khan misses with a few strikes there.
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Woods.
Woods lands a slapping body shot.
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Khan throws a body kick that misses.
Woods is looking to chop away at Khan's legs.
Khan tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Khan.
Khan moves forwards but Woods connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Woods with a nice cross.
Khan tries to bum rush Woods with a series of wild strikes but Woods uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Khan tries to clinch but Woods moves out of range.
Khan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Woods shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Woods stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Khan throws a head kick but Woods moves out of range.

Woods has closed the distance and engaged Khan in a clinch.

Woods pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Khan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Woodss head.
Woods is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Khan is keeping busy.

Woods's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A decent looking cross lands there for Woods.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Woods is pushing Khan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Khan jumps into guard, dragging Woods to the mat.

Khan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woods gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Woods gets to his feet - Khan follows without any prompting.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Khan is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Woods.

Woods rushes Khan and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luke Woods dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Ankur Khan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Khan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Woods has picked Khan up and slammed him! Khan can't keep hold of the triangle and Woods manages to pass to side control!

Khan fails with an attempt to clinch.

Woods misses with a body punch.
Khan throws a head punch that misses.
Khan tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Woods avoids it.
Woods wants to break free but Khan has control.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Woods.
Khan misses with a punch to the body.
Khan misses with a short punch on the inside.
Woods is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Ankur Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Woods shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Khan as he avoids it easily.
Khan tries to clinch up but Woods circles away and keeps his distance.

and Woods counters with a stiff right hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Khan enables Woods to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Khan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Luke Woods showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Khan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, if Woods is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Khan lands a hook that snaps the head of Woods backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Luke Woods seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Luke Woods comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Woods has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
