The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Aziz misses with a two punch combination.
Al Aziz stuffs the takedown attempt from Dick. Dick gets slowly back to his feet.
Al Aziz throws a nice looking combination but Dick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Al Aziz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dick has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Al Aziz has managed to get both his arms back between Dick's legs - danger averted.
Al Aziz wants to get up but he can't break Dick's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Dick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Al Aziz swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Dick tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Al Aziz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Hassan Al Aziz will probably get the nod.
