Clark comes to the cage accompanied by lord of the mics. Ingmir Fischson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Overeem Clark's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Overeem Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ingmir Fischson!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fischson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Clark looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Fischson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fischson has his feet on Clark's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Fischson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fischson shoots for a double leg takedown but Clark sprawls well. He's pushed Fischson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Fischson drops Clark with a beautiful combination! Clark stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fischson is looking for the KO!


It looks like Overeem Clark has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clark moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Clark tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Fischson counters by moving into the clinch.

Fischson manages to pull guard.
Fischson is controlling Clark's posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fischson is on top in guard.
Fischson stays in close to Clark's body and controls the position.

Fischson throwing strikes but missing.

Fischson gets to his feet. Clark looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Clark gets tackled into the cage by Fischson. Fischson maintains the clinch.
Clark stops a takedown attempt from Fischson.
Fischson controlling the action here for a moment.

Fischson breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fischson pulls Clark into guard.
Fischson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Fischson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Clark wants to get up but he can't break Fischson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Fischson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clark manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ingmir Fischson.
Fischson misses with a takedown attempt - Clark sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Overeem Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ingmir Fischson.

Fischson forces Clark back against the cage and clinches.

Fischson is working for takedown but Clark is calmly controlling the position for now.
Fischson keeps control of Clark as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Fischson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fischson dives in and grabs Clark's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clark pushes down on Fischson's head and hops out.
Fischson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Clark slaps away a takedown attempt from Fischson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fischson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fischson was well out of range. Poor timing from Clark.
Clark lands with a kick to the temple. Fischson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet.
Fischson closes the distance and clinches up with Clark, looking for a takedown. Fischson pushes Clark against the cage but Clark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fischson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clark is fending him off so far but Fischson persists. Nope, Clark circles away and we're back to standing.
Clark stuffs the takedown.
Clark moves in looking to clinch but Fischson pushes him off.
Fischson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clark's waist but Clark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fischson off to one side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fischson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Clark manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Clark takes a swing at Fischson's ribcage but misses.
Fischson avoids the head kick by Clark.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ingmir Fischson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Overeem Clark's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Fischson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Overeem Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fischson.
Clark throws a head kick that misses.
Clark fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fischson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Clark is fending him off so far but Fischson persists. Nope, Clark circles away and we're back to standing.

Clark gets tackled into the cage by Fischson. Fischson maintains the clinch.
Clark is looking to break free of the clinch but Fischson has double underhooks.
Clark is trying to break the clinch but Fischson has him pressed against the cage.

Fischson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fischson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Fischson is pulling down on Clark's head to control his posture.
Clark throws an elbow that misses. Fischson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Clark's guard. Nice move by Fischson!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fischson prevents Clark from getting back to his feet.

Clark is working an open guard so Fischson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Overeem Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fischson shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Fischson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Overeem Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ingmir Fischson.

Fischson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clark, pushing him back against the cage.
Fischson is pushing Clark up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Fischson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fischson moves into full mount! Clark won't be happy about that!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fischson cracks Clark with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Clark's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fischson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Clark avoids a series of strikes thrown by Fischson.

Fischson working for a submission but Clark is keeping him at bay.

Fischson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Fischson lands with some strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fischson controlling from the full mount.
Fischson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fischson unloads with some shots from mount but Clark bucks and avoids them well.
Fischson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fischson controlling the pace for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ingmir Fischson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Fischson gets in close and tags Clark with a short punch that almost sends Clark to the mat! Oh Clark is in big trouble! He turns his back on Fischson, trying to create some distance but Fischson rushes him, striking wildly and Clark goes down! The referee tackles Fischson into the cage to end the fight! Fischson is one violent man!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ingmir Fischson!
