Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Read (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Read throws a series of punches but Diaz moves out of range.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Read paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Read misses with a series of wild punches.
Diaz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Read.
Read has his takedown stuffed
and Diaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Read shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diaz as he avoids it easily.

Read tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Read is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Diaz decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Read is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Read stalks Diaz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diaz's face. Diaz staggers backwards, shaken.
Read will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Read throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Horrible takedown by Read or perhaps it was just good defense by Diaz which made him look bad.
Read fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Diaz is out of range.

Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Read is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Diaz is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Read's shoulder. That is not cool.
Diaz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
