Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Sabre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patyk Piotrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piotrov checks a low kick from Sabre.
Sabre fails to land with a series of punches.
Sabre swinging wilding here.
Piotrov tries to close the distance and clinch but Sabre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sabre throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Piotrov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sabre tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Matt Sabre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabre misses with a series of wild punches.
Piotrov throws a sloppy head kick and Sabre moves out of range easily.

Sabre misses with a low kick.
Sabre lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sabre shoots for a double leg takedown but Piotrov sprawls well. He's pushed Sabre's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sabre on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sabre.

Sabre throws a chopping leg kick but Piotrov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Sabre looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Piotrov!

Sabre fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Sabre is landing with some decent strikes but Piotrov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sabre lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Sabre cracks Piotrov with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Piotrov takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sabre's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
