Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dante Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janhino Suerto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carver comes to the cage accompanied by Machine Gun - Manu Chao. Suerto has chosen 50 Cent-Ready For War (Remix) as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver stuffs the takedown attempt from Suerto. Suerto gets slowly back to his feet.
Suerto closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Suerto shoots for a double leg takedown but Carver sprawls well. He's pushed Suerto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Suerto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carver looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carver makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carver.

Carver got a little sloppy there for a moment and Suerto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carver has managed to get both his arms back between Suerto's legs - danger averted.

Carver stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suerto swivels though and keeps the full guard.

I really don't envy Carver right now.

Carver connects with a combination that backs up Suerto into the cage. Carver lands a flurry of punches that gets past Suerto's guard. Suerto is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Carver bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

After winning the bout, Dante Carver thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
