Carter feints and as Niaz raises his hands in defense, Carter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Carter postures up in Niaz's guard and throws a big left but Niaz blocks it.
Carter throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Niaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Carter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
