Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dana Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Cushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Onward to Victory. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dana Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Micheal Cushing!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Black. Those never looked like landing.
Some wild striking there from Cushing.
Cushing defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Black.

Cushing gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Black to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Cushing pushes Black off and gets back to his feet.
Black shoots in but no luck this time.
Cushing goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dana Black. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck for Black with that takedown attempt.
Cushing throws a head kick but Black moves out of range.
Cushing lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Black circles away quickly and effectively.
Black keeps the fight on the outside.

Black misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cushing defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Black.
Black is breathing heavily.

Cushing closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Cushing gets underhooks to prevent Black's takedown attempt.
Cushing wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Black has him pressed against the cage.

Cushing escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cushing misses with a wild combination.

Black is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cushing's half guard.
Cushing wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black winds up and cracks Cushing with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Black tries to pass to full mount but Cushing defends it.
Cushing pushes Black off looking to stand but Black dives back in and keeps control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cushing tries to kick Black off but Black keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nice strikes from Black there.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Black lands a nice short elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Black connects with a nice short shot to Cushing's temple.

Cushing is trying to stand up here but Black is controlling him well.
Cushing has hold of Black's hands but Black slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Cushing is defending against the submission attempts here by Black.

Black seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Cushing is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
