The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hoshi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hoshi changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Hoshi scores with a shot to the body.
Hoshi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hoshi stuns Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hoshi lands with a nice combination. Silva backs away looking to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoshi connects with a solid leg kick.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hoshi pinned against the cage. Hoshi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spider Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Hoshi drops Silva with a left and a right! Oh, Silva is hurt - Hoshi dives into side control looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Hoshi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.
Hoshi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Silva down.

Silva is rocked!
The crowd goes nuts as Hoshi knocks Silva out cold with a massive hammerfist! Hoshi Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
